Full-Stack / Booking Platform

A comprehensive property and farmhouse booking platform featuring interactive maps, real-time availability, and secure authentication. Built with a Next.js React frontend and a robust NestJS backend using Prisma, Redis, and AWS S3.

Rehlo is a modern farmhouse and property booking platform designed to provide a seamless reservation experience. It features interactive map-based property discovery, real-time booking management, integrated payments, and in-app chat for hosts and guests. The architecture leverages a Next.js frontend and a NestJS backend to ensure high performance and scalability.

01

The problem

Booking farmhouses or private properties often involves fragmented communication, manual availability tracking, and insecure payment methods. Rehlo was built to centralize this process into a single trusted platform, allowing hosts to manage listings and guests to discover and book properties with confidence.

02

Approach

  1. Interactive Frontend

The user interface is built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, providing a responsive and accessible experience. It integrates Leaflet for interactive map-based property discovery and react-day-picker for intuitive date selection and booking management.

  2. Scalable Backend Architecture

The backend is powered by NestJS, offering a highly modular architecture. It uses Prisma ORM for robust database management and Redis for caching and session handling. Core modules include authentication (JWT/Passport), listings management, real-time chat, bookings, and a secure payment gateway integration.

  3. Media and Storage

Property images and user uploads are managed securely using AWS S3 with the AWS SDK, ensuring fast content delivery and reliable scalable storage for high-resolution media.
